Physical Datacenter Migration
Overview: A company needed to relocate it's small, in-office servers to a local data center. The project required precise communication and execution to ensure business operations were minimally affected and data security and integrity was intact.
My role: Communications consultant and project lead
Project management approach: Waterfall
Project duration: 6 months
Team size: 15-30 people
Deliverables: Communication plan, communication artifacts (emails, memos, etc.), project plan with Gantt chart, status report template, RACI, detailed migration logistics documentation (including worst-case scenario plans), leadership presentation decks
Outcome: The data center migration was successfully completed on time with minimal impact to customers and business operations (less than 18 hours of downtime, non-peak hours).​​
National Marketing Campaign
Overview: Managing this national reward program campaign required tightly coordinated project plans and timelines with multiple third-party vendors, as well as many internal teams.
My role: Marketing Program Manager
Project management approach: Waterfall
Project duration: 10 months
Team size: 40-50 people
Deliverables: Project plan, status report template, RACI, sales training presentation, enhanced standard operating procedures
Outcome: The campaign launched on-time in the majority of its targeted markets.​​ Efforts to expedite launches in the remaining markets were successful.

Medicare can feel overwhelming, especially for those who have complex health and medication needs. Our quarterly newsletter provided expert advice from pharmacists, healthy lifestyle tips, and information to help members more confidently navigate their health and rights.

Employee newsletter
For large organizations with employees working all over the world, making sure everyone is working toward the same goals and working from the same set of information can be difficult. Our 24-page, quarterly newsletter clearly outlined strategic priorities, celebrated wins, and welcomed new hires. The newsletter also integrated digital interactivity through a robust content calendar that aligned SharePoint, social media, and video content with the newsletter.
